Q. How can I begin to recieve Respite Service?

A. Contact Regional Center at (909)-890-3000 to ensure eligibility for a respite service. Upon confirmation, you will be directed to an appropriate center.

Q. What is the age limit?

A. There is no pre-determined age limit for a client to recieve respite service.

Q. What qualifications do our respite workers have?

A. All respite workers are required to have a valid drivers license and must have sufficient training in CPR and First Aid. Also, all workers are required to take part in an ongoing orientation program.

Q. Can a family member provide respite care to my client?

A. Yes, a relative is permitted to provide respite care, but they (the worker) CANNOT reside in the same address as the client.

Q. Does the serivce cost anything to clients?

A. No, the service is provided free of any charges issued from Inland Respite.
